Embrace Positive Attitude This New Year: CMD, UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital Implores Staff

The Chief Medical Director, UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital Osogbo, Professor Peter Babatunde Olaitan has charged members of staff of the Hospital to embrace attitudinal change in the discharge of their duties.

This he said should reflect in their encounter with the hospital’s patients and relations.

Prof. Olaitan made the call during an interreligious prayer session to start the New Year.

In a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer of the hospital, Mr. Ayodele Adeyemo, the CMD implored all categories of staff to be professional and do all that are necessary to ensure that patients are promptly and respectfully attended to.

He asked them to bear in mind that anybody can take ill as no human being, of any status, is above sickness.

To ensure total quality services are delivered, Prof. Olaitan disclosed that the Management has instituted a Service Delivery Monitoring Committee.

He assured that commendations and sanctions would be appropriately applied as may be necessary from time to time.

In appreciating the Osun State Governor, Gboyega Oyetola for giving attention to requests from the Management of the hospital, Professor Olaitan said Staff should be excited about the recent development which brought about the change in the name of the hospital to UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital Osogbo and see it as a good omen.

The Chief Medical Director hoped for more assistance from Government and Private sector for the hospital’s transformation.

He sought the cooperation of all members in the new year adding that his vision for the hospital can only be achieved when there is robust financing from different sources as well as judicious use of resources by the hospital.

Prof Olaitan then wished for a fulfilment of aspirations of every member of staff for this New Year.
