…we can deliver 1.2 million votes for Tinubu – Oyetola

Hundreds of youths in Osun State on Thursday defied torrential rain as they held a solidarity walk in Osogbo for the presidential candidate of All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.

The youth who coverged on the popular Ayetoro junction marched through Igbonna to old garage, and Olaiya and terminated it at the Ileri-Oluwa campaign office, Ogo-oluwa area of the State capital where they were welcome by the State chairman of the APC, Prince Gboyega Famodun.

Addressing the mammoth crowd of the youth, Governor Gboyega Oyetola hailed them for coming out en masse in support of Asiwaju Tinubu for president, saying with the tempo sustained, the former Lagos State governor would be victorious in the next year’s presidential election.

He described Tinubu as the most qualified of all the presidential candidates to lead Nigeria owing to the prevailing situation of the country, adding that the Lagos examples stand him out among others.

Highlighting some of the achievements of Tinubu as governor of Lagos, Oyetola said the current situation of Nigeria was the replica of Lagos of then, adding that the country would witness rapid transformation with Tinubu as president.

He said “with the number of people who came out today to show support for Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, we know that it is only Asiwaju that can do this job. I thank you all and I know that come February 2023, Osun will deliver up to 1.2 million votes for Asiwaju.

“Before his administration, Lagos State was like Nigeria of present with so many challenges, Tinubu came and fixed them all, he created LASMA to fix traffic problem, he provided job opportunities for the youths and he created employment.

“When you see somebody who is so creative that can think out of the box all the time to fix problems, that’s exactly the kind of person we need now to fix Nigeria. It is not the time to experiment, there is no doubt that we have problems. Asiwaju is the best person to handle that at this time. I’m impressed by the turn out of the youths and it is good that the youths are now taking up the challenge.

Speaking, one of the youth leaders, Kehinde Ayantunji said at this critical period, they had no choice than to rally support for Tinubu because of the believe they have in his leadership.

“We came out today to show the entire world that we are fully behind Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. This is a critical period for us a nation and we cannot experiment.

“We cannot commit our future to a leader that cannot deliver. We have no choice than to rally support for Asiwaju. We believe in his leadership and we believe that under his leadership, Nigeria will be prosperous,” Ayantunji said.
