The Baba Adını of Osun State, Alhaji Fatai Kolawole has felicitated Nigerians for witness the year 2025, extending wishes of joy, peace and posterity.

In a new year message personally signed and sent to Daily Mail on Wednesday, the Alhaji Kolawole urges Nigerians to leave behind the challenges of yesterday and embrace the possibilities of tomorrow.

He described the new year as a time of renewal, reflection and rekindling of hope.

The message reads in parts: “As we step into this glorious new year, I, Baba Adeen of Osun State, Alhaji (Dr) Abdulfatai Kolawole JP, extend my heartfelt wishes of joy, peace, and prosperity to all.

“This is a time of renewal, reflection, and rekindling hope. Let us leave behind the challenges of yesterday and embrace the endless possibilities of tomorrow. The dawn of a new year brings a chance to dream bigger, work harder, and build a brighter future together.

“I encourage every one of us to approach this year with unwavering faith, resilience, and a commitment to unity and progress. Let us support one another, strive for excellence, and contribute to the growth of our communities. Let us also embrace religious tolerance, understanding that our diversity is a strength that binds us together in peace and mutual respect.

“Furthermore, I appeal to our government, both at the federal and state levels, to prioritize the welfare of the people by implementing policies that will ease the economic burden of the masses.
