Osun NUJ Felicitates Kolapo Alimi On Appointment As Commissioner For Information
Osun State Council of the Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, has felicitates the newly sworn in Commissioner for Information and Public Enlightenment in the State, Bar.Kolapo Alimi.
In a release jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of Osun NUJ, Comrades Wasiu Ajadosu and Adeyemi Aboderin described the emergence of Bar Alimi as Commissioner in charge of the Ministry of Information as a well thought out.
It added that his coming on board as manager of government information will bring out the best in this regard and as well bring out the best in government information machinery.
The Union promised to closely work with the former Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs towards ensuring that a cordial working relationship is guaranteed between men of the Pen Profession and government of the day in the propagation of its activities.
Osun NUJ however, charged the new appointee to deploy his experience a rapid turnaround of Ministry of Information, Osun State Broadcasting Corporation and offer necessary assistance to other media outlets in the state.
Recall that Bar Kolapo Alimi was among 25 cabinet members sworn in by Governor Ademola Adeleke.
