2024/2025 Academic Session: Ede Poly Resumes February, 2nd

…directs immediate commencement of processes for online registration and medical screening

The Federal Polytechnic, Ede, Osun State will resume 2024/2025 Academic Session on February, 2nd 2025.

The was announced in a released signed by the Registrar and Secretary to Academic Board, Dr. I. T Agbola and made available to Daily Mail on Monday shortly after an emergency meeting of the board.

The decision was reached for the resumption to take effect on Sunday, 2nd February 2025, following the approval of the board.

According to the release, the processes for online registration and medical screening would commence immediately to ensure a smooth transition into the new semester.

It also noted that lectures and other academic activities had been scheduled to begin on Monday, 10th February 2025.

The release read in parts: “The Academic Board convened an Emergency Meeting today, Monday, 27th January 2025, during which it reached a significant decision to approve the resumption of the Polytechnic for the 2024/2025 Academic Session. This resumption will take effect from Sunday, 2nd February 2025.

“Furthermore, the Board has instructed that the processes for online registration and medical screening should commence immediately to ensure a smooth transition into the new semester. It is also important to note that lectures and other academic activities are scheduled to begin on Monday, 10th February 2025.

“On behalf of the Chairman and all members of the Academic Board, I would like to extend my best wishes to both students and staff for a fruitful and crisis-free new semester.”
