As Osun APC Chairman, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, celebrates another year of life, party members and leaders have flooded him with goodwill messages, extolling his virtues and leadership qualities. One of the notable figures in Osun APC Professor Siji Olamiju Akol, former APC candidate for Oriade/Obokun Federal Constituency.

Prof. Olamiju described Chairman Sooko as a blessing to Osun APC, particularly during this turbulent time in Osun politics. According to him, Sooko’s leadership has been a unifying force for the party, bringing members together from ward to state levels.

Under Sooko’s leadership, the party has witnessed unprecedented unity, with no prominent APC leaders defecting to the ruling party. Instead, the party has gained more members from the opposition, a testament to Sooko’s leadership style and ability to attract new followers.

Olamiju, who was in the same Cabinet with Sooko and his next Sitting Mate in the Oyetola administration, praised his leadership qualities, saying he has consistently demonstrated excellence in his contributions to party meetings and decision-making processes. “His leadership style is one that showcases his quality as a leader, and I have no doubt that he will excel in any position he holds,” Olamiju said. With Sooko at the helm, Olamiju expressed confidence that APC will win the 2026 and 2027 general elections. “With the help of God, the support of loyal party members, and the leadership style of our able Chairman Sooko Lawal, APC is poised for victory,” he assured.

Olamiju concluded by wishing Chairman Sooko many more glorious years, praying that God will continue to bless and grant him a long life. As Sooko celebrates another milestone, party members and leaders are united in their appreciation for his leadership and commitment to the APC. Olamiju’s statement concluded.
