Adhere To Your Campaign Promises – Asiwaju Badmus Urges President-elect Tinubu

Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta States, Dr Khamis Olatunde-Badmus has urged Nigeria’s president-elect, Asiwaju Tinubu to adhere, during his administration, to all his campaign promises to offer new lease of life to the citizens in all spheres of live.

Dr Khamis Olatunde-Badmus stated this in Osogbo, osun state during an event organised to foster unity and peace among indigenous political stakeholders from Osogbo town.

He canvassed politics with unity of purpose and admonished Osogbo indigenes to prioritize love for their indigenous base in their political endeavors.

Speaking on the just concluded presidential election, Dr Olatunde-Badmus expressed the view that the Tinubu/Shetima leadership will fast track Nigeria’s development in economy, security, education and other sectors.

Other political stakeholders at the event expressed hope that the experience of the president-elect in democratic leadership will go a long way in translating to policies and services that will bring a renewed hope for Nigeria and Africa at large.

Speaking on the decision of some political parties to challenge outcome of the presidential election, senate spokesperson, Senator Ajibola Bashir described the gesture as part of electoral process, adding that the APC will also cross appeal the petition based on irregularities discovered particularly in the Southeast.

Senator Ajibola used the ocassion to re-emphasize that he will also challenge outcome of national assembly election in his Senatorial district of Osun central which he represents at the national assembly.
