Adjust Lifestyle To Current Economic Reality – Asiwaju Olatunde Badmus Urges Nigerians
…expresses hope that Nigeria will soon regain lost glory
The Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo, and Delta States has expressed the hope that with commitment, dedication , diligence and prayers on the part of leaders and followers alike , Nigeria will soon regain her lost glory.
Asiwaju (Dr.) Khamis Olatunde Badmus stated this in his message to Muslims in commemoration of the Eid ul Ahda festival.
While calling on muslims to celebrate Eidul Adha moderately, the business icon maintained that with prayers, hard work, and patience on the part of all Nigerians, the country would soon begin to heal from the wounds she has sustained.
He advised Nigerians to adjust their spending to suit the current economic reality occasioned by the federal government’s economic policies.
According to him, the faithfulness of prophet Ibrahim to Allah and the patience of his son Ismail birthed the spiritual rejuvenation known all over the world as Eidul Adha.
He called on muslims to pray for the glory of Nigeria to re-emerge so that the nation would experience peace progress and development.
He advised the federal and state government authorities to implement policies that would reduce inflation, check insecurity, and provide employment.
The Asiwaju Musulumi also enjoined the youth in the country to channel their energy towards productive engagements, adding that engaging in rituals, shortcuts, and fraud in search of money would only lead to self-destruction.
Dr Khamis Olatunde-Badmus called on the youth to maximise the advantages, which he said are locked in agriculture, mining, technology, and commerce in Nigeria.
