AIG Cooky Takes Charge Zone 11 Command Osogbo

The newly deployed Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) In-charge of Zone11 Command Osogbo, Comprises of Oyo and Osun States Commands, AIG Cookey Christy Ibiso, has assumed duty.
In a release signed by the Police Public Relations Officer of the Zone, SP Ayeni Benjamin, the newly posted AIG pledged to motivate officers and men of the force to work with the police and secure their jurisdiction effectively.
According to the release, Cooky promised to introduce visible and community approach in policing the zone.
AIG Cooky, an indigene of Opobo town in Opobo/Nkoro Local Government Area of Rivers State, secured appointment into the force on the 15th march 1988 as a cadet ASP.
She is a graduate of University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Enugu State where she has a Bachelor of Art in Mass Communication.
She obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of Portharcourt, and capped it up with a Masters Degree in Educational Management at the University of Science and Technology Portharcourt, Rivers State.
