Awofadeju Congratulates Gov Adeleke On Supreme Court Verdict

A member of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in Ofatedo, Egbedore local government area of Osun State, Dr. Peter Olayinka Awofadeju, has joined other Nigerians in congratulating the State governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his success at the supreme Court.

The Apex Court had on Tuesday re-affirmed Adeleke as the validly elected governor during the 2022 July 16th governorship election held in the State.

In a statement personally signed by him, Awofadeju described the judgement as the will of God for the people of the State.

He called on the people of the State for continued support for the governor so that he can continue to thread the path of good governance for the benefit of the State.

The statement read in part “I wish to join the millions of Nigerians to congratulate our amiable, kind and sagacious governor, Senator Nurudeen Ademola Jackson Adeleke on the victory recorded at the apex court on Tuesday 9th May, 2023 against APC and Oyetola concerning the July 16th, 2022 governorship election.

“Your victory has been ordained by God Almighty against the rejected and the opposition party in Osun State. Your kind heart and human feelings which made people of Osun State to be enjoying since you were sworn in call for your divine victory. your victory is not a surprise to us, you deserve it.

“His excellency, the people of Osun State are solidly behind you and are daily praying for your success, as they say ‘voice of the people is the voice of God’. Your success at apex court is just the beginning, you shall greatly be elevated beyond your imagination and greater than your enemies.

“I want to use this opportunity to call on the people of Osun State to corporate and work with our sagacious and governor of the people to record greater achievement in his time. We should not allow the opposition to brainwash us against the good governor at any point in time.

“Let me use this medium to appreciate our working governor over the commencement of road from Osunjela/Irepodun community/Olodo to Abere/Owode-Ede. We have seen the commencement of construction of bridges on the road which we know, soon the road will be tied.”
