Breaking: Nollywood Actor Murphy Afolabi Is Dead

Popular Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi has reportedly passed away at 49.

Reports have it that he died from injuries incurred when he slipped and fell in the bathroom in his home.

His colleague in the Yoruba movie industry, Tunde Ola-Yusuf, confirmed the unfortunate incident on his Facebook page on Sunday.

Ola-Yusuf wrote; “Rest in peace… May God give the family and close associates the fortitude to bear the loss.”

“Goodnight Murphy Afolabi”, he added.

This comes less than 24 hours after the news filtered out about the death of a popular Nollywood actor, Saint Obi.
