Care Vantage Pharmacy organises free medical outreach for Osun residents

*Care Vantage Pharmacy organises free medical outreach for Osun residents*

A pharmaceutical company, Care Vantage Pharmacy, popularly known as Biowell, will be organising another free medical outreach to residents of Osun State between January 28 and 30, 2022.

The medical initiative, the second of its kind in the state, will hold within the premises of Shifau Rahman Integrative Medicine Hospital, located at Number 21, Adeyemi Afolayan Street, Oroki Estate, Phase 2, Service Area, Osogbo, Osun State.

According to the Chief Medical Director of Shifau Rahman Integrative Medicine Hospital, Dr Opeyemi Abdulahi, beneficiaries of the outreach would be attended to between the hours of 9:00am and 2:00pm everyday adding that tests and treatment are free while residents would register with N1,000 to benefit from the outreach.

Speaking about Care Vantage Drug Store Limited, Dr Abdulahi said, “Biowell is a pharmaceutical company that produces natural drugs. When we say natural drugs, we mean drugs of natural origin like herbs. The two founders of the company are both pharmacists. They are based in USA. The drugs are made in USA and we have a drug store in Lekki but now, we are transferring the drug store to Ikeja.

“We have many products which we have tested and they have been found to be efficacious and safe in treatment and management of several ailments. For example, we have Glucowel, made for diabetes and it has successfully managed people’s sugar level. We also have hyperwel, which is for high blood pressure and we have drug for prostrate enlargement treatment. This requires surgery much of the times but with the drug, we have given it to many people and no surgery is needed again to treat prostrate enlargement. We have Vitamin C, E, and many products that are NAFDAC approved.

“I am the medical coordinator of Biowell. I am the one ensuring that people make use of bowel products safely by providing them required theuraptic advice. I also ensure that the products get to the people. We are into partnership in ensuring that their products get to the nooks and crannies of this country,” he said.

Speaking about Shifau Rahman Integrative Medicine Hospital, Osogbo, he said it is a conventionally registered and fully accredited hospital with ultramodern facilities that provide medical services for both general and private patients.

“With the team of doctors, clinicians, nurses, midwifes, pharmacists and specialists, we offer the following conventional care services; Medical (In patient and Out patient Departments); Surgery; Pregnancy; Antenatal Care and Delivery services; Immunisation; Pharmaceutical dispensary; Family planning; Pediatrics; Laboratory Services; Public health and counselling and General Consultancy.

“We also provide different natural medicine services such as Acupuncture, Phytomedicine ,Dietary and nutritional therapy, Apitherapy, Moxibustion therapy, Hydrotherapy, Modern cupping techniques, Massaging techniques, Aromatherapy among others.
