Diplomatic visit: Sen Akume receives three Ambassadors

The Minister of Special Duties & Inter Governmental Affairs, Senator George Akume from Benue State received three Diplomats.

The diplomats who paid a visit to the Minister on May Day, at his Abuja residence described him as a patriotic gentle man politician who was committed to the development of his country Nigeria.

The three diplomats comprises of two non- career Ambassadors recently appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari, Hon Tarzoor Terhemen the Nigerian Ambassador to Namibia from Benue State, Mr Ominyi Nwanne Eze from Ebonyi State the Ambassador to Zambia and the High Commissioner of Namibia to Nigeria Mr Humphrey Geiseb.

The Minister while encouraging them to sustain the peaceful coexistence between Nigeria and their respective host countries also assured them of his support.

In a reaction, the High Commissioner of Namibia to Nigeria, Mr Humphrey Geiseb expressed gratitude for the warm reception and word of encouragement.

The two non- career Ambassadors Hon Tarzoor Terhemen and Mr Ominyi N Eze delightfully exchanged pleasantries as the brief meeting ended with a group photograph.

Other important person present was Mr Chris Tarka, the Chief of Staff to the Honourable Minister.
