As Muslims across the world celebrate Eid-el-Fitr, the Chairman of Ife North Local Government Area, Ipetumodu, Osun State,
Hon Ebenezer Adeyeeba, has felicitated with Muslim faithful, especially residents and staff of his council.
In a statement issued out by the head of department, Social Development and Information of the LG, Mrs Bisi Silas on Monday, Adeyeeba urged Muslims in the state to maintain the acts of kindness shown to the needy and others during the Holy Month of Ramadan and continue to pray for peace in Osun.
He said, ‘For thirty straight days, we have practiced generosity; we have shown compassion and acts of kindness to others without prompting, we must sustain this as it will help to promote peace in the society.
“As Muslims across the world celebrate the eid-el-fitri, Hon Adeyeeba Ebenezer, congratulates Muslims especially residents and citizens of of Ipetumodu and all staff of Ife North Local Government ‘eid mubarak’.
Adeyeeba described Oyetola as a performing governor who has been using his wealth of experience as a dexterous administrator to transform the state beyond the expectations.
He, however, commended the governor for working tirelessly to take the state to greater heights.
He urged the people of the council to vote for Governor Gboyega Oyetola for second term so as to continue his good work.
Hon Adeyeeba prayed that the crescent-shaped moon brighten the faithful path toward enlightenment and may Allah bless them with peace and grace.
“One good turn deserves another. Governor Gboyega Oyetola deserves second term in office May this Ramadan bring joy, health and wealth to you,” he added.
