Eid- el Fitri: Osun NUJ Rejoices With Members, Harps On Love, Tolerance

Nigeria union of Journalists Osun State Council has rejoiced with Muslim members on the occasion of eid il Fitri Celebration.

A Statement by the Chairman of the union, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and Secretary Comrade Bukola Elufadejin urged Muslim faithful to sustain the lesson leant during the thirty days Ramadan fasting.

The statement admonished members to always live in love and perseverance among others as exemplified in the life of the holy prophet Mohammed (SAW).

It charged members to keep praying for this nation especially at this period of insecurity and economic hardship.

‘We must use this period to pray fervently to Almighty Allah to bring back the lost glory of peace, tranquillity and abundance as it was in the land before.’the statement added.

The union therefore Prayed to Almighty ALLAH to Accept members Fasting, Solat, zakat and other Forms of worship as acts of Ibadah.
