The Chief Medical Director, Uniosun Teaching Hospital Osogbo, Professor Babatunde Peter Olaitan has felicitated with the Muslim Community in the hospital and its patients, on the successful completion of the Ramadan fast.
In a statement signed by the hospital Public Relations Officer, Ayodele Adeyemo, the CMD charged all staff and patients Muslim faithful to demonstrate the teachings of Prophet Muhammed, (SWT), in their daily pursuits and activities even as the month of Ramadan is gone,
He stressed that the critical essence of the holy month is to amend, forgive, love and help others.
He therefore prayed that the Almighty Allah would use them to touch the lives of others during this yuletide and beyond.
Prof. Olaitan also appealed to all workers in the hospital to maintain the medical ethos of love, concern and empathy for the hospital’s patients and relations.
He then appealed to all to bear in mind all Covid – 19 rules during this festive season and ensure total compliance to prevention guidelines for their own safety and that of others.
The Chief Medical Director wishes the people of Osun State and Nigeria a deserved peace during the festive period.
