Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince AbdulYekeen Adebayo Adeleke has felicitated with Muslims on the successful completion of 2021 Ramadan season and celebration of Eid-il-fitri.

In his congratulatory message, Adeleke said the just concluded Ramadan period had set template for how to live a Godly and human life which must be allowed to continue after the season.

According to him, even in the celebration of Eid-il-fitri, the lessons and importance of Ramadan should be upheld by all Muslim faithful.

The Commissioner urged faithful to use the period of the celebration to supplicate to Allah against the security challenges in the nation.

He said, it’s only in the midst of sustainable security of lives and properties that the government can deliver good governance to the people.
He also added that the celebration of the festival teaches giving to the less privileged, saying this must encourage faithful to consider and give to the less privileged around them.

The Commissioner advised that all bad habits that have been abandoned during the month of Ramadan should be left completely for good.
