The Baba Adeen of Osun State, Alhaji (Dr.) Abdulfatai Kolawole, JP, on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan congratulated and extended warm greetings to all Muslim faithful across Osun State and Nigeria.

This is contained in a statement personally signed and sent to Daily Mail by the Baba Adeen of Osun to felicitate with Muslim faithful in Osun and beyond.

He said, “Ramadan is a time for spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and deep reflection. It is a period to seek Allah’s mercy, strengthen our faith, and embrace the values of piety, humility, and selflessness. As we fast and engage in acts of worship, let us also remember the less privileged by extending kindness and generosity.”

Baba Adeen called for religious tolerance and unity among all people, emphasizing that peaceful coexistence is essential for societal progress and development. Let us use this sacred month to foster mutual understanding, respect, and harmony in our communities.

The ex- permanent secretary for Osun state universal basic education added “Furthermore, young people are encouraged to seek knowledge and deepen their understanding of Islam. Education and wisdom are fundamental in shaping a just and righteous society, and the youth must take an active role in upholding the values of Islam for the benefit of all.

“May Allah accept our fasts, guide our hearts, and grant us peace, unity, and prosperity.”
