Osun State Government, under leadership of Governor Ademola Adeleke has assured the people of Aduramigba Community in Egbedore Local Government area of the State that their agitations regarding failed part of the newly constructed road in the community will be addressed within a very short period.

This was contained in a release issued by the Hon. Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Olaoluwa, who doubles as the Chairman of the Committee set up by Governor Adeleke to investigate the cause of their agitations.

While carrying out on-the-spot assessment of the situation surrounding some part of the that failed , the Hon. Commissioner, who led the committee to Aduramigba Community said ” we are here on behalf of the state Government in response to the news making the rounds on the social media. Be rest assured that all your demands will be addressed within a short period.” He stated.

Hon. Olaoluwa appealed to people of the Community to exercise patience and give peace a chance, noting that the report of the suggested corrections raised on the road would be immediately submitted to Governor Adeleke for necessary swift action.

While also urging the people of Aduramigba Community to always take their grievances to the Government instead of resorting to protests, which according to him could be hijacked by hoodlums, he maintained that the current Governor Adeleke led administration, being a listening government, is capable of addressing the situation.

He explained further that the rehabilitation of the road was carried out under the supervision of Rural Access and Mobility Project (RAAMP), which he said is a World Bank Programme to provide motorable roads to rural communities, adding that government can not use substandard materials that are below specifications to execute road projects.

Responding on behalf of the community, the Olu of Aduramigba, HRH. Oba Emmanuel Babatunde Abidogun expressed happiness of the community, commending the Government for having a listening ear and for its quick intervention, promising of many good things to come.
