Dr. Olufunmilayo Fasehun, the late Senator’s eldest daughter, recalled the family’s cordial relationship with Dr. Fayemi, which began when he delivered an inspiring lecture at the late Senator’s 80th birthday celebration in 2005.
Throughout Dr. Fayemi’s tenure as Executive Governor of Ekiti, he consistently visited late Senator Ayo Fasanmi at Iye-Ekiti and Osogbo. Dr. Fayemi has memorialized the legacy of the late Senator by naming a secondary school after him.
