The family of Akorede Oluwajumoke Amisu has issued an urgent public appeal following the mysterious disappearance of the 27-year-old makeup artist, who has not been seen since late February.

Residents of 8 Oshilaro Street, off Sabo in Sagamu, Ogun State, the family expressed deep distress over the professional’s failure to return from a routine business engagement in the Sango area.

According to her sister, Oluwatosin Amisu, the missing woman departed their residence on February 25, 2025, specifically to attend a “home service” appointment for a client.

While such appointments were a standard part of her work in the beauty industry, the situation turned critical when Akorede failed to check in or return to her Sagamu base as expected later that evening.

Reflecting on the harrowing weeks since the disappearance, Oluwatosin detailed that her sister’s last communication was a brief update regarding her destination in Sango.

That conversation remains the final point of contact between the makeup artist and her loved ones, who have been searching for her tirelessly ever since.

Born on January 11, 1998, Akorede has now been missing for over two weeks, prompting her family to heighten their plea for intervention.

They are calling on the Nigerian Police Force and members of the public to assist in locating her or identifying the specific client she was scheduled to meet on the day she vanished.
