Fayose Reacts to Arapaja’s Emergence as PDP S’west Zonal Chairman

Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has congratulated Ambassador Toafeek Arapaja on his emergence as the Southwest Zonal Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Arapaja emerged as the zonal chairman after defeating his opponent who was the zonal chairman of the party in Southwest, Eddy Olafeso in an election which held in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State State.

Recalled that Olafeso was backed by Fayose to become the zonal chairman while Arapaja was backed by Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde.

Fayose had pledged in his speech delivered shortly before the election was held at the venue that he would support any contested that emerged the winner.

Reacting to the outcome of the election, Fayose took to the twitter to congratulate Arapaja to show his commitment to his words.

He tweeted, “I congratulate Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja on his emergence as the Southwest Zonal Chairman of our party, the PDP.

“Like I said in my speech at the beginning of the congress that we should win together and we have indeed won together”.
