Former Osun PDP Chieftain, Babalola Officially Joins APC, Vows to Deliver Constituency In Future Elections

A former Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Osun State, Elder Peter Babalola has officially pitched his tent with the All Progressives Congress, APC.

He pledged to use his political influence for the APC to become stronger in Irewole local government in particular, the entire Osun West Senatorial district and the State in general.

Babalola was speaking on Wednesday while he was being formerly received into the folds of the All Progressive Congress by the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola in Ikire.

He vowed to ensure that the APC record total victory in the forthcoming local government elections and other future elections in the State.

The former chief of Staff sounded a note of warning to the present administration to shelve his plan to manipulate the system in the favour of PDP in the coming local government elections.

He directed all his supporters to register in APC in all the 332 wards across the various local government area of the State.

Represented by the State Secretary of the APC, Alao Kamorudeen the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, said the party would secure landslide victory in the upcoming local government elections as well as in subsequent nationwide elections.

Oyetola emphasized the importance of party members rallying around the leadership and supporting the candidates to ensure all-around victory in the coming elections.

The Minister maintained that the APC-led administration is committed to offering good leadership, particularly in rural areas, stressed that mobilizing for the party should commence in earnest.

He urged members of the party to return back to their various political wards to register and make their present felt.

Senatorial Leaders and members of the party across 10 LGAs that made up Osun West Senatorial district were all on hand to officially welcome Peter Babalola into the fold of the Progressive party in the State.

The national chairman of the APC, Absullahi Umar Ganduje would in the next two week in Osogbo, officially welcome Elder Peter Babalola into the APC.
