Hijrah 1444 AH: lead in promoting peaceful co-existence, love – Asiwaju Tunde-Badmus

The Asiwaju Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji (Dr) Khamis Olatunde-Badmus has enjoined Muslims in Osun State and Nigeria in general to lead in promoting peaceful co-existence , love and progress in their communities and the country.

Asiwaju Badmus made the call today in Osogbo in his message to muslims on the commencement of the new Hijrah year 1444 AH.

According to the business mogul, HIJRA Calendar is associated with the emigration of the Holy Prophet Muhammad from Mecca to medina.

He said the virtues of universal love , compassion, patience , peace and understanding inherent in the Holy Prophet Muhammed gifted humanity the Hijra Calendar.

He advised Nigerians to emulate the virtues of patience and promote peaceful co-existence to make Nigeria great among the comity of nations.
