The lawmaker representing Osogbo State Constituency at the Osun State House of Assembly, Hon. Hon.(Engr) Badamasi Olatunde Taofeek has described as blatant lie the report in some circulated online that he was attacked by thugs.

Hon. Badamosi took to his Facebook account to dispel the report branding it “gross misinformation and unsubstantiated”

The post reads in part: “This is to dispel every iota of gross misinformation and unsubstantiated reports published or circulated online that i was attacked by thugs at the birthday get-together organized on my behalf by close friends and associates around Oroki Estate. This is completely untrue.

“Let me reiterate for the umpteenth time, I, Hon.(Engr) Badamasi Olatunde Taofeek (Abolubode), the Honourable member representing the good, loving and accommodating people of Osogbo State Constituency was not attacked or assaulted by any thug. I’m safe, sound and healthy, i didn’t suffer any cut, bruises or wound, I’m presently in my official apartment.

“I appreciate all those concerned about my safety, who have reached out to me via calls and messages. Please kindly disregard in its entirety any other contrary falsehood.

“Thank you”.
