IIJ Resumes Academic Session December In Osun – Centre Coordinator
The academic session for the year 2021/2022 of the newly resuscitated Osogbo Study Centre of the International Institute of Journalism will begin in December.
Coordinator of the Centre, Mr Abass Okandeji made the disclosure while featuring on separate OSBC Radio And Television programmes “The News Maker” and “Matter Arising’ respectively.
He said the Osogbo Study Centre of IIJ which was resuscitated by the current executive of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council, headed by Comrade Wasiu Ajadosun was as a result of the yearnings of members of the union.
According to the coordinator, the programme will avail interested members of the public the opportunity to further their educational pursuit as well as to prevent quackery in media practice.
He said the Osogbo study centre of the IIJ has all necessary backing and approval to roll out its programme in the state.
Okandeji highlighted the the programme of the institute which include National diploma, Higher Diploma and Post graduate diploma in journalism, public relations and advertising.
He enjoined prospective applicants to pay the sum of Ten Thousand Naira N10,000 to the Institute’s ECO Bank Account Number: 2202070864, after which they will present evidence of payment for collection of form at the Osun NUJ Press Center beside Technical College, Osogbo, Osun State
He also urged them to fill the Bank Teller in their respective names for administrative purposes.
