Int’l Women’s Day: Oluomo Fatai Kolawole Felicitates Women

The Oluomo of Modakeke, Alhaji (Dr) Fatai Kolawole on Wednesday felicitated with Nigerian women in celebration of International Women’s Day.

Alhaji Kolawole, a retired permanent secretary and community leader said the celebration would remind the society of the significant roles that women play in the family and nation-building

He stressed the need for all stakeholders to pay attention to the challenges confronting women, adding that women play indispensable roles in the society and deserve full support and respect of society for those roles.

“Since the global population reflects an almost parity in gender ratio, an accelerated total development cannot be achieved without equity and equality of opportunity and access to world resources.

Policies of government at all levels should be deliberately seek to get the best from them for the peace and progress of our society”. Oluomo Kolawole explained.

Alhaji (Dr) Fatai Kolawole therefore advised the elderly women not to relent in their roles aimed at developing global society especially sound moral training for the young female children especially.
