Iree Poly Rector Imbroglio: Odetayo Resumes Office Following Court Order
Suspended rector of Osun state polytechnic in lree, Dr. Tajudeen Odetayo has officially resumed back to office as the rector of the school following court interim injunction that status qou should be maintained pending ruling on the matter.
Dr. Odetayo was suspended on the 7th of July this year by the state government over yet to be investigated or confirmed petition written against him by some members of management in the institution.
His suspension was trailed by reactions and protest by students and members of the instruction’s chapter of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics, ASUP who condemned the suspension and his replacement by Alabi Kehinde in acting capacity.
The matter was later taken to industrial court and the court in its interim injunction ordered that status quo should be maintained pending determination of the matter.
Following the court order, Dr Odetayo resumed to continue his tenure at the polytechnic on Thursday and was received by members of management and ASUP Executive back into the campus with display of various placards
and prayer sessions.

appreciated the state governor, Ademola Adeleke for allowing the rule of law to prevail on the matter.
