In the event of dissolution of joint ownership of the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology by Oyo and Osun State, the Management of LAUTECH Teaching Hospital Osogbo has assured the general public that the arrangement would by no means affect the services of the hospital.

A release signed by the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof Peter Olaitan and made available to Daily Mail states that the status of the hospital is not in any way affected by the development.

The release assures the public that LAUTECH Teaching Hospital in Osogbo remains an independent organisation and would continue to render its services as ever.

It further states that the government of Osun state has promised to continue to give necessary support to the hospital.

The release reads “all stakeholders concerned about the services in Lautech Teaching Hospital Osogbo are hereby informed that the hospital will continue to function unabated and its operations will continue as scheduled.

“Our numerous patients, staff, trainees and indeed the public should remain calm as we will continue to render our services as expected”.
