Nigerians deserve hearty congratulations as they mark the revalidation of the June 12 presidential election, a testament to citizenship and unity unparalleled in the country’s history. They also deserve happiness and hope for sustaining 25 years of unbroken democratic governance.

These sentiments were expressed by Chief Lanre Odelade, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader in Osun State and Special Adviser to Governor Ademola Adeleke on Rural Water and Environmental Sanitation Agency (RUWESA), in a message sent across various media platforms.

Chief Odelade honored the heroes and patriots of the June 12 struggle, noting that their efforts have not been in vain since democracy survives today. He urged Nigerians to sustain the ideals of the June 12 presidential poll to ensure democratic dividends and values thrive among citizens, regardless of ethnic, religious, cultural, or political differences.

The PDP chieftain commended President Bola Tinubu for recognizing the sacrifices of Nigerians who fought for democracy. He also appreciated Governor Ademola Adeleke’s efforts in implementing people-oriented programs that have improved living standards in Osun State since November 2022.

Chief Odelade observed that the governor’s focus on public welfare has positively impacted the state, bringing about more democratic dividends in a short time. He charged the people to sustain their support for Governor Adeleke’s administration, which prioritizes the well-being of Osun State residents.
