A senior editor with the Osun State Broadcasting Corporation (OSBC), Lateef Agboola has made a distress call for a woman named Folashade Abifarin who needs urgent medical care.

According a Facebook post Lateef made Wednesday afternoon, Folashade is suffering from kidney failure and needs dialysis.

Dialysis is a treatment for people whose kidneys are failing. When one kidney fails, your kidneys don’t filter blood the way they should. As a result, wastes and toxins build up in the bloodstream. Dialysis does the work of kidneys, removing waste products and excess fluid from the blood.

“She’s currently lying in a critical condition on hospital bed at the Emergency unit of the Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.

“To make her matter worse, there is no member of the family or relative around, except her eldest daughter, and her friend Folashade Adeyefa who has been running around to ensure that her friend gets the medical attention before it’s too late.

“According to my findings, Sade been tied to the hospital bed since Saturday when she was brought there and the medics cannot attend to her, because there is nobody to pay on her behalf.

“At this juncture, any good Samaritan, who is willing to assist her can reach out to Sade through her daughter on 08067536095, her friend on 08067895112 or contact the Osun State University Teaching Hospital, Osogbo.

“I was told she needs a sum of One Hundred and Forty Thousand for the dialysis alone, apart from other medical expenses.

“You can equally pay into her account: 3067146823 Abifarin Monsurat Folashade

“No amount is too small. Thanks

“N.B: If you send anything into the bank account above, please share me the payment receipt on my WhatsApp number: 08030788718, for accountability sake.

“May God reward you in manifold.”
