Make 2025, Year of Consolidation – Odelade

Nigerians should navigate 2025 with the mindset of consolidating on finished projects and advancing on new ones.

Special Adviser on Rural Water and Enviromental Sanitation Agency (RUWESA), Chief Lanre Odelade gave the charge in a message of felicitations on the new year.

The Special Adviser and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party in Osun state,described the outgone 2024 as a year of tribulations for majority of Nigerians but expressed hopes in their resilient determination which made them survive.

Chief Odelade took a retrospective look at the level of developments that have taken place in Osun state from 2022- 20224 with greater hopes that better days lay ahead in the new year.

The Special Adviser noted that the policy direction of Osun state government has prepared sufficient grounds to complete on-going projects and initiate new ones.
“I am optimistic that the financial prudency and respect for due process will work in favour of the Adeleke administration to carry public projects and programs to logical ends in the new year.”

The RUWESA Political head added that the 2025 state budget contains provisions targeted at strengthening public agencies to contribute to internally generated revenue of government.

This he opines,”will assist in no small measure, government’s capacity to invest the industrial turn around of the state and make a haven for private investors.”

Chief Odelade charged the leadership of ruling Peoples Democratic Party in Osun state to continue working on reconciliation, mobilisation and consolidation of the party in all nooks and crannies of the state ahead of the local government elections and the re- election of Governor Ademola Jackson in 2026.
