The president, Nigeria Union of Local government Employee (NULGE), Osun State Chapter, Dr Nathaniel Ogungbangbe has applauded, Governor Ademola Adeleke for emplacing good governance in the State.

He hailed the governor for prioritising workers’ welfare, noting that the government is paying salaries alongside other benefits as and when due.

Ogungbangbe noted that despite what is happening in local government council, the governor has not failed in the payment of salaries.

He thanked the governor for providing May Day clothe for all members of NULGE to celebrate the workers Day

Ogungbangbe said “Governor Ademola Adeleke has not failed us. Therefore, we will not fail him too.

“We, workers of Osun local government are reiterating our support for Governor Ademola Adeleke in 2026. He is doing well for workers and we promise our votes in 2026.”

Meanwhile, the NULGE president hinted that the directive for the local government workers to return to office would be given by the leadership of union and that would happen when the safety of members can be guaranteed.
