The Muslim Students’ Society of Nigeria (MSSN), Osun-State Area Unit on Friday honoured Alhaji (Dr.) Abdulfatai Adesina Kolawole, the Baba Adini of Osun State, with an Award of Excellence in Modakeke, Osun State.

The event, hosted by the MSSN Modakeke branch and held by the Muslim community in the state, was a celebration of his outstanding and selfless service to Islam and humanity, with participants drawn from many MSSN branches across Osun State.

The award was presented by the Amir of Osun State, Engineer Asimiyu Amobi Oyediran, alongside the Former MSSN Vice President (International), Ustaz Isiak Awwal.

They showered encomiums on Baba Adinni, emphasising that the awardee truly merited the honour.

They described Alhaji Abdulfatai Kolawole as a symbol of love, peace, and harmony—a man who has consistently demonstrated these values in his personal and professional life.

The organisers praised the Baba Adinni for his unwavering dedication to the service of humanity, both during his tenure as a Permanent Secretary at the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and in his continued efforts after retirement.

He also highlighted the significance of utilizing the holiday periods to reinforce Quranic lessons and other religious studies, urging parents to ensure their children remain engaged in these vital aspects of their upbringing.
