Murder, Attack Accusation: Lowo Adebiyi, Self-styled Top Chairman, Should Stop Frivolous Talking – Famodun

The Osun State Caretaker Chairman of the All Progressives Congress(APC) has expressed his worry and disappointment about an unsubstantiated and phantom allegation of intent to attack and murder of some of the leaders of a dissident group under the nomenclature of The Osun Progressives(TOP) by its self-styled chairman, one Rev Lowo Adebiyi, in one of his regular press conferences at its office situated at the headquarters of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola Campaign Office which also houses Oranmiyan Group in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, yesterday.

In a statement issued by Famodun’s spokesman, Kola Olabisi, in Osogbo yesterday, the APC state chairman stated that there was every propensity for a person to intuitively engage in running the diarrhoea of the mouth if decency is sacrificed on the altar of moderation and decorum as there was neither a basis nor justification for the very funny, outlandish, irresponsible and incapable of being proved allegation of intent to attack or murder any member of TOP as espoused by Lowo, a supposed revered person, in the said press conference which its uncommon rapidity has transformed it into a monumental tirade, a blatant eye sore and an unparalleled abuse of the press.

The statement reads further that: “The political attainment of the so-called TOP chairman should sufficiently guide him to know that if truly his murder and attack accusation is not a mere manufactured composition deliberately orchestrated to misinform the discerning members of the society, he, a suspended member of Agba Osun in Osun APC, should not waste a second before reporting to the security agents.

“I am of the view that the murder and attack allegation is just a smokescreen criminally invented not only to curry undeserved sympathy for his insignificant minority splinter group but to waste the precious time of the security officers who are statutorily saddled with the responsibility of investigating such a weighty but clearly unsubstantiated criminal allegation against the APC handlers and members of the cabinet of the ever-focused, hardworking and forward-looking administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola.

“I ponder and come up with what might be one of the major challenges of the so-called cleric in politics – Lowo talks too much and he should stop talking henceforth.

“The earlier he(Lowo) stops engaging in diarrhoea of the mouth, the better for him. If I may ask, for how long does Adelowo intend to be an emissary of rift who constantly runs damaging servitude errands at his age?

“It is a shame that a supposed former handpicked through consensus acting state chairman of our party who cringed and lobbied to be made a substantive chairman on the eve of his removal from office could descend so low to be a willing tool of the destabilization of our party in the hands of his mentor.

“It was the struggle Adelowo did not embark upon when he was foisted on our party from a mere unpopular senatorial chairman by the then power that be that he is now needlessly exhibiting with rigour by deciding to climb a dead and already embalmed horse on his voyage to his political Golgotha!

“I will not hesitate to join other discerning minds to continue to watch Adelowo on how far the suspended Agba Osun member can go in this his political self-destructive mission

“I am convinced beyond reasonable doubt that the security apparatchiks would help solve a lot of riddles on the phoney attack and murder accusation by Adelowo being peddled against the peace-loving Governor Gboyega Oyetola-led cabinet members, our party chieftains and officials ably led by me.

“The splinter group chairman should be ordered by the security men to be definitive and categorical by mentioning the suspects, where and when such plans to attack and murder the leaders of his infamous TOP group were hatched.

“Anything short of this is balderdash! Lowo should keep his mouth shut for ever as his constant outbursts are no longer making sense in tune with the political reality of the moment.

“Must the TOP chairman insult the governor, leaders of Agba Osun and the leadership of the APC in the state as he constantly does before he can make his political points?

“You should report back to your financier, promoter and brainbox that you are grossly insufficiently incapable mentally and politically to be a clog in the wheel of the progressive party in Osun State with the pungent hatched mission to frustrate the second term ticket of Governor Oyetola whose intervention in the administration of the state is divinely arranged by the All-knowing God.

“You and your co-travellers in your shameless mission of bringing down the government of Governor Oyetola should be told that we have the dossier of your hidden memorandum of understanding and various nocturnal meetings between a faction of the Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) in our state and your dead-on-delivery group with a clear sinister agenda to disrupt and frustrate the people-oriented administration of Governor Oyetola which is making towering and variegated developmental waves in our state. But this is an issue to be unveiled in another time if these visibly copious flagrant anti-party activities are not stopped forthwith.

“Lowo’s metaphorical drum is sounding too much. It’s advisable he applies a break to avert perditious journey to his infamous and dangerous political trip.

“One needs not be a rocket scientist before he could view with the hindsight that it is obvious that the infamous TOP chairman is guilty of what he is accusing the Governor Oyetola administration and the Osun APC leadership of as the political awareness of the people of the state has greatly appreciated. It is what Lowo and his cohorts are planning against the mainstream APC members in the state that the self-styled TOP chairman is accusing us of.

“Lowo and his handful of adherents are warned to desist from planning to resort to extra-judicial means of settling any political score in our peaceful state under the Eagle-eye watch of Governor Oyetola as any attempt to do so will make him and his accomplices to squarely face the wrath of the law as law is not known to be a respecter of anybody in any democratic climes like ours.
