The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi has urged the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Trade Union Congress (TUC) to shelve their planned nationwide strike slated for Tuesday next week.

Oluwo harped on the need for all Nigerians to support President Bola Tinubu-led Federal Government to succeed in his policy reforms to change the fortune of the country.

He acknowledged the hardship that the subsidy removal had brought to Nigerians but he believed it would be temporary.

Oba Akanbi believed that the current administration was working hard to address challenges facing Nigeria as a Nation.

His counterpart, Olofa of Offa, Oba Mufutau Gbadamosi who was a guest as the celebration, emphasised the need for Nigerians to be patience and hope for better Nigeria.

Oba Gbadamosi however appealed to Nigerians to pray and give maximum support for the success of President Bola Tinubu.
