The staff alleged that they have not received promotion arrears since 2016 while running cost, hazard allowance and internet service were not provided in all its local Government Offices across the state for the ongoing NIN registration.
According to them, this is the second time in four years that staff of the agency would be denied promotion.
At the commission’s office in Osogbo intending registrants decried the hardship they have been subjected to, due to the NIN registration.
Residents who arrived the state office of the commission as early as 4 o clock in the morning were disappoint to see the office locked.
They want the NIN registration be put on hold to avoid the spread of COVID-19 since social distancing is not being observed.
