NUJ Greets Christians On Easter
Easter has been described as time for the celebration of exemplary life of love lived by Jesus Christ when followers take after Him in their love for their fellow beings.
Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists, Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu in his message on the celebration of Easter said that it is only in display of love that the essence of the celebration could be meaningful.
In his message to Christians on the Easter celebration, Ajadosu beseech adherent of the faith to show love for one another, saying a period of remembrance of uncommon love displayed Jesus Christ who laid down His life for the remission of our sins should be embrace by all.
The Osun NUJ chairman enjoined political leaders to show love to the citizens by ensuring that whatever policy they make is well thought out to be harmless to the well-being of the people.
He charged the governed to relate with one another without any form of discrimination just like Jesus Christ did during His earthly ministry up to the point of His death on the cross.
He asked Christians in the state and beyond to continue to demonstrate love, promote peace and show good neighborliness and pray for the newly elected political leaders at all levels for God to endowed them with wisdom, understanding and knowledge as they prepare to take the mantle of leadership next month.
Ajadosu also appealed to members of the pen profession to be their brothers keepers.
