Obaagun Community Grammar School Alumni Association inaugurates Pioneer Executive Members

The president Alumni Association of community Grammar school,Obagun, Mr Isiaka Adeyemi wants the old students of the school to work for the growth and development of the school.

Mr Adeyemi stated this in obaagun during the inauguration of the pioneer executive of the association.

The President while appreciating all those who made the election and their subsequent swearing a success that it turned out to be also identified five fundamental areas that will form the core values and mandates of the Association during his tenure in office.

He highlighted the focus on the new executive to include improvement of the school infrastructure, mentorship/ scholarship for indigent students and sustaining membership base among others.

The Pioneer President therefore urged members of the association to work with his newly inaugurated Executives in achieving the set goals that are yearning for urgent attention in the school.

He commended Obaagun Development Union, the Patriotic Club of Obaagun and Oluomo of Obaagun, Chief Alhaji Lasun Makanjuola for their immense contributions towards the development of the school.

In her address, Chief Mrs Olaniyi who was the Chairperson of the occasion challenged the new Executives to see their present positions as a great challenge tailored towards giving a lift to the present condition of the school.

In a remark, the National President of Obaagun Development Union, ODU, Barr Kayode Olowolagba identified urgent things begging for urgent attention in the school to include a well furnished modern Library and fully stocked laboratory.

The newly inaugurated pioneer Executives of Community Secondary Grammar School Old Students’ Association, Obaagun include
Comrade (Imam) Isiaka Adeyemi, President, Arch. Babawale Sikiru Kola, Vice President I with Mrs Adeoye Folasade Francess who got sworn in as Vice President II.

Others on the roll call of the new Executives are Barr Dauda Ajadosu, Secretary cum Legal Adviser, Mr Olasupo Kayode, Assistant Secretary, Prince Lukuman Jimoh Atoba Treasurer and Prince Ganiyu Fatai Adewale, Financial Secretary.

As well as Yahaya Wasiu , Publicity Secretary, Idowu Muideen , Director of Sports, Adedokun Thomas Sunday , Internal Auditor while the last but not the list on the team are Prince Olaniyan Tajudeen Kunle, Engr Akeem Shittu and Mr Abdulsalam Mudashiru who will serve the Association differently as Branch Chairmen in Abuja, Lagos and Ondo State respectively.

Community secondary school,Obaagun in ifelodun local government area of Osun state was established in 1980.
