O’HIS Free Enrolment For Pensioners: Association Of Veteran Journalists Hails Gov. Adeleke

The Association of Veteran Journalists in the Osun State has commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for his magnanimity to give free health service to retirees in the state.
In a communiqué jointly signed by the Chairman and Secretary of the Association Prince Adepoju Atobatele and Secretary, Olusola Ajiboye respectively, the Association noted that Governor Adeleke is the first Governor to remember retirees who are growing older after service.
It admonished the Governor to make those in charge of the Free Medical Treatment to justify their callings as practitioners.
The Association said that since the Free Health Service is non-political, solid foundation must be laid to ensure its continuity.
It added that there should be periodic upward review of pensions to cope with the current economic situation in the country.
