Olalere Takes Over As Osun NASME Chair

Promises to collaborate govt, stakeholders on productivity
The Nigerian Association Of Small And Medium Enterprises has promised to work with Government and relevant stakeholders to ensure sustainable economic growth in the country.
The chairman of the association, Sunday Olalere gave the assurance during his inauguration as the chairman for the year 2025 and 2026 .
The new chairman said his administration would confront all challenges headlong to create an environment where small and medium scale enterprises will thrive.
He lauded past leadership of the association while promising to build on their good legacies to project SMEs in the state to a global standard.
He harped on unity and collaboration among all executives to achieve the objectives of the association in creating wealth and prosperity.
Olalere stressed that the association would facilitate training, research and empowerment for all members to improve their creativity .
The president of the association, Abdulrasheed Yerima represented by the Vice president, Southwest, Mrs Ijeoma Oduoye while coordinating the inauguration lauded the spirit of unity and Sportsmanship exhibited by the Osun State chapter.
He called on governments at all levels to increase their support for small and medium scale enterprises through NASME.
In his keynote address, Dr Olayinka Anjous stressed the need for reform in the Nigeria education approach to ensure that no student would graduate without a workable skill.
He appealed to Nigerians to all be producers and not consumers alone stressing that productivity is the hallmark of prosperity.
Dr Anjous identified small and medium scale enterprises as the wealth creators in every economy stressing the need for more investment in the sector to strengthen the country’s economy
Earlier, the immediate past president, Alhaji Ademola Akinromade said his administration improved the membership and performance of the association calling on the new executive to do better.
The event was themed The Future Of Entrepreneurship “In Osun: Scaling SMEs Through Innovation, Technology And Policy Support”
