Olowu Of Kuta Hosts NUJ OSBC Chapel, Emphasises Professional Ethics
The Olowu of Kuta Kingdom, Oba Adekunle Oyelude Makama CON, has charged members of the pen professionals to always discharge their duties in accordance with the ethics of media profession.
Oba Oyelude Makama gave charged while receiving the new executive members of the NUJ, OSBC Chapel, led by the chairman, Comrade Lateef Agboola, on courtesy visit to the Royal father, who is also the life Patron of the union, at his palace in Kuta kingdom, osun state.
He commended the journalists with the State owned media conglomerate, for their diligence and hardworking; while congratulating OSBC family on the new Radio transmitters procured for all their three radio stations, with modernized studio equipment, by the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke.
The traditional ruler, who promised not to relent in supporting the NUJ, OSBC Chapel, as its Patron; prayed for the successful tenure of the new Executives and continued progress of all members of the union.
In his remarks, the chairman of the NUJ, OSBC Chapel, Comrade Lateef Agboola, appreciated the Olowu of Kuta Kingdom, for always being a pillar of support for the union; pledging that his administration would sustain the tempo of cordial relationship between Oba Oyelude Makama and members of OSBC NUJ.
On the entourage was the Osun state secretary of the NUJ, Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin as well as some members of the incumbent and immediate past Executive of NUJ, OSBC Chapel.
