Osogbo Fire Incident: ADC OSHA Candidate, Hon. Okandeji Commiserates Victims

The candidate of African Democratic Congress, ADC for the Osogbo State Constituency in the forthcoming Osun State House of Assembly, OSHA elections, Hon. Abideen Okandeji has commiserated with the victims of the fire incident that razed some shops at station road in the State capital.

In a statement personally signed and made available during the weekend to Daily Mail in Osogbo, Hon. Okandeji described the incident as unfortunate and a great loss at a time that people were struggling to make ends meet in the face of skyrocketing inflation.

While advising members of the State to take cognisance of the dry season and avoid any recurrence of such incidents, the ADC OSHA candidate prayed God to comfort the victims of the unfortunate incident.

Recalled that the shops were razed by the fire which started Saturday evening and could not be put off until the early hours of Sunday.

Despite the reported prompt response to the distress calls, the operatives of the Osun State Fire Service, it was learnt could not be quench the fire until three other adjoining shops were razed down.
