2022 Guber: Court declares Adeleke as authentic PDP candidate in Osun
A Federal High Court in Osogbo on Wednesday affirmed Senator Ademola Adeleke as the authentic candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the July 16 governorship election.
Prince Dotun Babayemi, a factional candidate of a group within the party had approached court to declare the governorship primary conducted by the group as authentic and affirm his candidature.
Delivering the judgement, the presiding judge, Justice Nathaniel Ayo-Emmanuel, said Dotun Babayemi did not participate in the primary election as he declared Adeleke as the authentic candidate.
