Osun Basketball Association Chairman Donates Equipment, Promises More

The new Chairman, Osun State Basketball Association, Engr. Opeyemi Babalola has donated Breakaway Rim worth #150,000 in support of the game.
Engr. Babalola who was elated after the heroics of Osun State Under 13 male, Under 15 male and Under 15 female in Sango Otta Basketball Fiesta where they won Silver, Gold and Bronze respectively donated the equipment to encourage the kids to play with modern facilities.
” It is imperative we make these kids happy for their exploits in Sango Otta Basketball Fiesta where they made us both proud. Hence, there is the need for them to play to have modern facilities in other to be able to compete anywhere in the world.”
“The Breakaway Rim and the Basketball donated by me are just the first of many goodies coming to the state to develop Basketball.” Engr. Babalola stated.
Osun Basketball Coach, Taiwo Ajibola Eleniyan expressed his delight to the kind gesture of Engr. Babalola and also implored him to do more.
” We are so happy to receive this Breakaway Rim from you Sir. I am not surprised because I know what you capable of doing. You have shown time and time again that your love for Basketball is second to none. We are blessed to have you as our Chairman. The kids are seriously happy with you.”
“We want to promise you that Basketball in Osun will continue to soar higher and higher with your support.” Coach Eleniyan said.
