Osun commiserates with Akire over wife’s death

The Government of the State of Osun, on Saturday, commiserated with the Akire of Ikire, Oba Olatunde Falabi, over the death of his wife, Olori Anthonia Aduke Falabi.

The deceased was a retired Primary School head teacher.

Osun government, in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Civic Orientation, Mrs Funke Egbemode, commiserated with Oba Falabi, the Lambeloye ruling house and friends of the deceased who dedicated her life to teaching and service to humanity.

Osun government also described Olori Aduke Falabi as an ever-present pillar behind her husband, especially through trying moments of the past years.

“The government of State of Osun condoles with the Akire of Ikire, Oba Olatunde Falabi, the Lambeloye ruling house, and educationists in the State, over the demise of the wife of the Akire and a retired Head Teacher, Olori Anthonia Aduke Falabi.

“We believe that Olori left behind a legacy of service to humanity and contribution to the betterment of mankind through her impacts in the noble teaching profession. Besides, Olori was a strong pillar in the kingdom over the past years.

“We urge His Majesty and all family members to take solace in the good works Olori did while she lived. We pray that God Almighty grants her eternal rest”, the statement read in part.
