Osun Commissioner, Olaoluwa Tasks CDC Exco On Promoting Self-help Projects
The Osun state Commissioner for Rural Development and Community Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Olaoluwa, has advised elected community development council executives in the state to work tirelessly towards improving the face of community development by promoting self- help projects which are the priority needs of the people.
Hon.Olaoluwa spoke while declaring open a day sensitization training for elected community development council executives, which held at the staff development centre, Abeere.
Represented by the Special Sdviser to the governor on RAMP Honourable Moji Omisore, The commissioner further urged the CDC executives to remember that their efforts are to complement the activities of government on projects which are their priority needs.
While delivering the First lecture on Duties and Responsibilities in a dynamic world, Pastor Bunmi Ibiloye, linked positive development to a presence of positive change.
He also provided an in-depth analysis of the roles and duties of community development council executives.
On her part, DR MOJI AINA, who spoke on Team Building and effective leadership in community development, emphasized team work in the community in order to achieve great development.
According to her, good leadership must maintain a good interaction within their community in order to enable people to enrich their skills and ideas.
In his Closing Remarks, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Rural Development and Community Affairs, Mr Oladapo Fasina, lauded the significant achievements of the present administration at the grassroots level which is second to none and promised that the state government will resurcitate the primary assignment of the Council
