Osun LG Commission Boss, Adedeji Tasks Workers on Diligence, Dedication To Duty

The Chairman, Local government service commission, Osun State Elder George Adedeji has charged local government workers to be deligent and dedicated to their duties.

He gave the charge in Ipetumodu during a visit to the Ife North Local government council with board members and management of Osun local government service commission.

In a statement by the head of department of Social Development And Information, Ife-North LG, Mrs Bisi Silas, made available to newsmen, Elder Adedeji harps on the need for workers to be consistent, regular and punctual l with a view to discharging their duties as laid down in regulations guiding their work.

He pleaded with the workers in the council to support the administration of Governor Gboyega Oyetola in his quest to bring all round development to the State.

Speaking on the need to re-elect Oyetola to continue in office, Elder Adedeji hailed the governor for managing the affairs of the State by moving it towards greatness.

He described the governor as “silent achiever, a man of integrity, intelligence God fearing and a man of the people.”

Earlier, the Chairman of Ife-North, Hon. Adeyeeba Ayoola Ebenezer had welcomed the chairman of the local government service commission and the board members to the council.

He assured the workers that governor would never disappoint them as he has continue to make good his promises to the people of the State and could not afford to renege on them.

Ebenezer who noted that workers are the engine room of any administration, said it would be difficult for any government to succeed without the cooperation and commitment of workers.

The Coordinating Director, Barrister Lekan Babalola said, “Punctuality is important because it makes us to be disciplined and gives us chance to become successful in life.

While commending for their cooperation this far, Babalola also urged workers to be punctual and perform their responsibly as staff.

And he pleaded to staffs that they should cast their vote to our performing governor, and thanks all the staffs for there cooperation always.

He assured them that Governor Oyetola has promised to grant their requests including promotion, advancement, conversion and payment of arrears.

The council Manager, Ife-North LG, Jacob Adeyeye said, the road to the White House is long, expensive, and exhausting, but only meant governor Oyetola being a good manager of resources.
