Osun NUJ Holds 2024 Press Week Opening Ceremony Monday

The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Osun NUJ Press Centre will hold on Monday in the morning.
A Statement by the Chairman of the Union,Comrade Wasiu Ajadosu and Secretary,Comrade Adeyemi Aboderin indicates that the 2024 Press Week with the theme ” Nigeria@64 : Insecurity and Economic Challenges and The Prospects will be declared opened by Commissioner for information and Public Enlightenment, Oluomo Kolapo Alimi while the Owa of Igbajo ,Oba Ademola Stephen Makinde and Elende of Eko Ende ,Oba AbdulWaheed Babatunde Adekunle are expected to be the Royal Fathers of the day.
The Statement noted that former Chairman of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council, Pastor Kayode Akinsola is the Chairman of the occasion.
The discussants at the event includes a Human Rights Activist ,Comrade Ayo Ologun and a Public Affairs Commentator,Mr Kanmi Ademiluyi.
The statement also hinted that all heads of media stations ,former NUJ leaders and League of Veteran Journalists are Special Guests at the event
The statement enjoined members of the Union, friends of the media , students union ,labour Unions and members of the public to be part of the ceremony.
