Osun NUJ lauds Governor Adeleke for approving rehabilitation of its hall, provision of Bus

….Calls on Governor’s Spokesperson to facilitate speedy release of the fund and bus.
The Nigeria Union of Journalists, Osun State Council today commended Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke for approving the rehabilitation of its hall and provision of Bus for the union.
The union made the commendation in a communique issued at the end of its monthly Congress.
The Communique described the governor’s gesture as a welcome development, saying it would go a long way to enhance Journalism practice in the state.
It however called on the Spokesperson to the Governor,Mallam Olawale Rasheed to facilitate the release of the fund and the bus to the union.
The Congress also appealed to the Osun State Government to do well to remember the media through the NUJ State Council whenever palliative is shared to groups in the state by the government. It noted that the NUJ has 280 members who should be captured in the distribution of palliatives.
It however commended Governor Adeleke for the six new digital transmitters procured for OSBC Radio, and the new television transmitter and equipment that will soon be delivered to OSBC Television.
